Chrissie Hynde, Ricky Gervais and Gemma Atkinson support World Animal Protection

15 10 2019

Personalities including Gemma Atkinson, Chrissie Hynde, Ricky Gervais, Maribou State, Evanna Lynch, Simon Reeve, Chris Smalling, Deborah Meaden, and Lacey Turner have backed World Animal Protection's latest campaign film, marking World Animal Day and asking viewers ‘does the life of an animal mean nothing at all?’.

The 60 second film highlights how animals are exploited and 'used for sources of entertainment' on a daily basis, and Katie Tostevin-Hobbs, High-Profile Relations Lead at World Animal Protection, commented 'It’s fantastic to see so many high-profile personalities help to give animals a voice by sharing the film, encouraging contemplation, discussion and action. Now more than ever, animals need to be heard. It’s vital that we work together as a global community, to call out cruelty and end animal suffering'.
